Is it bad luck to wear your wedding dress after the wedding

No and the Korte Trouwjurk majority of the population these days are not superstitious either.

Along the same lines, white wedding dresses were absolutely unheard of before Queen Victoria introduced them in 1800s. Prior to that time, even in Biblical times, brides wore a colored dress. Very few people could afford a new dress that would only be worn once, so they wore either their best dress they already owned or they had a new dress made in a color that could be worn in the future and not get dirty.

If you wish to, do whatever you want with it. Cut it off and wear it, save the material you cut off for a matching purse or wrap. Take some of the material for a collage of keepsakes, put it in your scrapbook or photo album. Gee, make a fabric frame for your wedding picture!

Save the dress for the next bride, or not. Wear it for Halloween, save it for somebody else costume.

I never heard of any bad luck being associated with wearing your wedding dress again. LOL, just not to your wedding with a second, or third husband! Just kidding.

People should wear their dress more than just for the wedding, especially for what some people pay for them.

To put it in a box just to *hope* that someday someone will wear it is just kind of silly. My mother-in-law offered me her mother dress. It didn fit and was so old-fashioned I wouldn have wanted to wear it anyway. She had not worn it either. Why would you bring out the dress and pressure someone else to wear it? What if it fit but they really hated it?

Just do what you want with it. I will be wearing mine to different locations with a friend to take pictures (she will also be wearing her dress) so we have awesome pictures. But we Trouwjurk Lange Mouw often go different places with different outfits to take pics Vintage Trouwjurk - that just us.

Later, we hoping to write it into one of the little horror movies I do for fun. In one of the last films I did, a lady had her old dress and absolutely destroyed it when she turned into a zombie bride and started chasing everyone around the woods! She had a great time, and it was a great scene in the movie. I doubt I do that, but whatever.
