Different people see things in a different light. If every answer was serious, this site would probably fizzle out. Everyone needs a chuckle and if there are already serious answers to a question, I think there is nothing wrong with leaving a silly one for those with a sense of humor. There no longer any point to it at all. Get the point? Or am I not getting my point across? I guess my point got lost in all the pointedly pointless questions.
I suppose that depends on the category of question, and whether it is conversational or educational. If the question is conversational, then I see no reason why a silly or humourous Korte Cocktailjurken answer is inappropriate. If the questioner has not specified whether their question is educational or conversational, ie, whether they want to learn from the answer or are just asking for the same of starting a conversation, then it is up to the respondants to answer as they see fit. Similarly, if a category has been given, then I would assume the answer should fit in neatly with the category - for example, if the question was in the category of "bereavement" it might seem inappropriate to give a fippant answer.
Does anyone else agree that if someone is nice enough to answer your question that you should be nice enough to give them points, wether or not you agree, isn that what comments are for?
When you points answers in a question, why would you say + whatever and nothing else? Is it to get attention? You do know it fills the comments section of those that ask the question, don you?
Immediately after posting a question or an answer sometimes, points appear (no comments, no answers, just points.) Are these points coming from a Community Leader? Do CLs rate brand new posts before anyone else has the opportunity to get to them?
What are your views on people who instead giving one answer to a question, give multiple answers in order to get points? What should be done to stop this if you find it wrong?
