Is chewing gum decreetly behind a mask as an employee in a dental office against OSHA regulations

Is chewing gum decreetly (behind a mask) as an employee in a dental office against OSHA regulations.

I am a dental hygienist over 50. I have dry mouth (assume it age related) and chew gum to stimulate saliva production. Dry mouth can be very destructive to teeth and gums. The boss says no gum chewing (it food against OSHA regulations), although he allows food and drink at the front desk where people handle patient charts. Employee manual (written by him) does bruidsmeisjes jurken expressly say no employees Sexy Trouwjurken may have food and drink in their work areas, but is obviously making an exception in the case of some employees. We do have a separate employee lounge area. What are the OSHA regulations on gum chewing behind a mask.

OSHA regulations. Hygiene areas and practices. Where protective clothing and equipment is required, the employer must provide change rooms equipped with storage facilities for street clothes plus separate storage facilities for protective clothing.

Where skin contact occurs, washing facilities must be provided. Employees who have skin contact with must wash their hands and faces at the end of the work shift and prior Trouwjurk Lange Mouw to eating, drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco or gum, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet.

Eating and drinking areas must be located and maintained to prevent the contamination of food and beverages. Eating, drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco or gum, and applying cosmetics are prohibited in regulated areas or areas where skin or eye contact occurs. Products associated with these activities must be kept out of these areas.
